Four dead and several injured (at the moment are 7) in an explosion in a department store in Taiwan: The local media report it. The explosion took place shortly before noon in the 12 -storey restaurant area of the Shin Kong Mitsukoshi department store in the city of Taichung.
Firefighters and ambulances teams intervened on the spot and it is not excluded that other victims are found during the inspection. The authorities have started an investigation to determine the cause of the accident, although everything indicates that the explosion was caused by a gas escape.
