Innovation, technology, digitalisation and an ecosystem to inspire in order to build your own future: this is the Sud Innovation Summit for young people. «Our goal – underlines Stefania Ruggeri, vice president of Sud Innovation APS and chief marketing officer – is to offer real skills and concrete tools, not just inspiration. The workshops and laboratories that will animate the 16 vertical rooms represent a unique training opportunity, open to all and guided by experts”. The SIS Talent Hub will also be active at the Papardo Polo, the space dedicated to the meeting between companies and young talents, who will be able to leave their CVs and get to know the present realities and new job opportunities up close. «From the Microsoft AI Lab, where it will be possible to closely experiment with the applications of artificial intelligence, to the design and product innovation laboratories, up to the courses on coding, sustainability, foodtech and media, each activity is designed to help transmit knowledge» highlights Ruggeri.

The organization also offers the possibility of obtaining three scholarships with full coverage for the Executive Master in Digital Marketing, promoted by GoGo Academy and arriving in Messina from January to May 2026: one of the best master’s courses in the sector, with over 450 participants including students and companies and 100% placement for those unemployed from previous editions. At the stand of the Messina Chamber of Commerce it will be possible to scan the QR code to directly access the application page. To facilitate the participation of the UniMe academic community, up to 1 CFU will be awarded to registered students.

And to promote the event among the young community, 40 ambassadors were identified: students, associations, young professionals and entities such as Crescendo Incubatore, Universome, the University’s student newspaper, the team of Ambassadors Unime, Atreju, Morgana. «They responded to the SIS call to action – explains Ruggeri – not to assist, but to participate actively. Being an Ambassador of the Sud Innovation Summit means living the experience from within, contributing with enthusiasm and team spirit to the creation of an event that combines training, innovation and community. It is a way to make yourself useful, grow professionally, but above all be part of something bigger: a network of young people who share the same vision, that of a South that does not wait for change, but creates it. Those who choose to participate – underlines Ruggeri – choose to invest in themselves, to look ahead and to believe that change can also start – and above all – from the South”.
