Cateno De Luca, leader of Sud Lavora Nord and current mayor of Taormina, formally presented this morning the necessary documentation for his candidacy for the Senate in the Monza Brianza college at the Court of Milan. Over 350 signatures were collected from supporters.
«I want to thank – says De Luca – all those who signed my candidacy, demonstrating that they have faith in our political commitment. We could have presented the candidacy using the name of Sud Gioca Nord, thus avoiding the collection of signatures, but we chose to proceed in this way to send a significant message”.
«The message is clear – he adds – the South called, and the North responded, demonstrating that the message of unity between the different regions of Italy, represented by South Call North, is well received and supported». The slogan chosen by De Luca for this electoral campaign is “competence without borders”. «The objective – continues De Luca – is to bring to the Senate our administrative experience which has allowed us to make a difference in the communities we have administered».
