In a post on Truth, Donald Trump argues that Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene is resigning from Congress due to her declining poll numbers and the risk of a primary defeat against a challenger supported by the president.

Trump also reproaches her for having collaborated with “the worst Republican congressman in recent decades, Tom Massie”, co-promoter of the law for the disclosure of the Epstein files.

«Marjorie ‘Traitor’ Brown, due to the plummeting polls and the fact that she does not want to face a challenger in the primaries with a strong endorsement of Trump (against whom she would have no chance of winning!), has decided to ‘give up'”, writes the tycoon.

«Her relationship with the worst Republican congressman in decades, Tom Massie of Kentucky, also known as Rand Paul Jr. because he votes against the Republican Party (and against excellent laws!), did not help her.

For some reason, mainly the fact that I refused to answer her endless barrage of phone calls, Marjorie became mean. However, I will always appreciate Marjorie and thank her for her service to our country!”

Taylor Green: I don’t want to be a battered wife who stays silent

Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene announced her resignation from Congress in a video in which she said she had “too much self-respect and too much dignity” to “endure an abusive, hateful primary against me from the president we all fought for.”

“I refuse to be a battered wife who hopes that everything will go away and get better,” she added, further accusing that “most of the establishment Republicans, who secretly hate him, who stabbed him in the back and never defended him from anything, were all taken in after the election.”
