The participation of the Calabria Region in the Slow Fish Fair in Genoa, one of the international reference events for the sustainability and biodiversity of the sea, which took place from 8 to 11 May 2025, has ended with great success. An important showcase to promote agri -food and fish excellence, which saw the participation of 14 regional companies, representatives of different sectors, united by the property for the and sustainability.
The Calabrian companies brought to Genoa a selection of typical local products, including olive oil, wine, mushrooms, preserves and, of course, fresh and transformed fish products, symbol of the maritime tradition of the region.
The regional collective represented a unique opportunity to enhance the agri -food and fish heritage of Calabria, consolidating the presence of the region on an international stage – commented the regional councilor for agriculture Gianluca Gallo. Participation in the Genoa Motor Show was a fundamental opportunity to network, promote our region and strengthen the link with consumers, both Italian and international. “
An important novelty of this edition was the participation of the Jonica Calabria peach peach who highlighted the commitment of local communities for the enhancement of sustainable fishing, making the public know the responsible fishing practices and the typical sea products of the Ionian Calabrian coast.
