“On behalf of the CISL union, of all the members and more generally of all the workers of the Pizzo construction site, I would like to greet and thank the institutional authorities present and not, as well as the company and its responsible director of the construction site, who supported us in organizing this important initiative to “support the renewal of the national collective labor agreement for environmental services”. So in a note Giovanni Sciarrone of the RSA CISL
“This initiative, which is absolutely peaceful in nature, has the objective of raising awareness among the institutions and citizens of the current stalemate situation in the negotiation for the contract renewal”.
The spirit of service that has always characterized the workers of the Pizzo construction site, daily engaged in difficult work in equally difficult environmental conditions, for which we appeal to the competent authorities to respect the union ordinance relating to the correct disposal of waste together with an always responsible, proactive and constructive style of behavior of the CISL union, once again wanted to demonstrate attachment to work and respect towards citizens and the municipality also guaranteeing on this important day of national strike the correct carrying out of the optimized “also in consideration of a scheduled service albeit an important event which tomorrow Saturday will see the municipality of Pizzo once again a protagonist in Calabria and beyond.”
Respect for the environment and eco-sustainable policies have now become processes that can no longer be derogated from by politics, which for the common good must promote and plan, concretely and synergistically with all interested parties, without dispersing the positive energies already present, but rather enhancing them.
Eco-sustainable policies, in addition to guaranteeing the well-being of the community, can also be the driving force of socio-economic development based on quality tourism
We hope that Pizzo, its Administration, its Mayor, the City Council, the entire Community, will each, to the extent of their competence, concretely stand alongside the workers, in this battle for respect not only for the rights, but also for the dignity of the workers, for the common good.
