The 1st regional course for emergency health rescue workers was established, promoted by the emergency-urgency department, directed by Dr. Riccardo Borselli, in collaboration with the training centers.
The course officially kicked off on Friday 6 June and will take place simultaneously in the offices of Cosenza, Catanzaro and Reggio Calabria.
The initiative recorded great interest, with over 600 members. The training activities will be curated by a team of highly qualified professionals, including doctors, nurses and rescuers who already operate in the emergency with the aim of providing specific skills to operate in emergency health contexts.
This course also represents an important recognition for the fundamental role played by the volunteers operating at the service of 118.
“The project marks a significant step in the enhancement of the regional rescue system and in the enhancement of human resources engaged in the emergency-urgency sector,” reiterated the protagonists.
