The Milazzo Refinery presents the new 78 million euro investment plan for 2026, confirming its commitment to safety, energy efficiency, plant reliability and environmental sustainability.
The plan, illustrated during the annual meeting with trade union organisations, related companies and Sicindustria Messina, is part of a complex scenario, characterized by volatility in the energy markets, transformation of the refining sector and uncertainty about the international geopolitical situation.
The investments will be aimed at strengthening the competitiveness and resilience of the site, with interventions aimed at operational excellence, production continuity and the improvement of environmental and energy performance.
Particular attention will be paid to the safety of industrial infrastructures, electrical systems, energy efficiency and logistics, with improvement interventions on strategic RAM assets.
The program confirms the path already started by the company towards a progressive reduction of the environmental impact and the consolidation of the role of the Milazzo Refinery in the production and employment system of the area.
