The municipal administration of Reggio Calabria has named a Tonio Licordarihistoric and unforgettable journalist from Reggio who passed away in 2016, the press room of the “Oreste Granillo” municipal stadium. “The idea of ​​naming the press room of the municipal stadium after Tonio Licordari – explained the mayor – was almost natural because, in this place, the echo of the deeds, words and work of those represented still echoes, to everyone the effects, an example for the many young people who are approaching the fascinating and complex profession of journalism”.
“Licordari – recalled Giuseppe Falcomatà – has always had a precise approach to issues, not only sports ones but also news, society and customs, aimed at studying the topics in depth and understanding all the facets of the different situations he was going to discuss.
