The theme of rare diseases narrated through a popular legend and the location with an ancient flavor of Novara di Sicilia in “The mystery of Spartivento”short film by the director Angelo Faraci in competition for the Rai Cinema Channel Sorriso Prize at the Social Cinematography Festival Black silk tulipsin Rome from 8 to 11 May.
Available on the website www.tulipanidisetanera.rai.it, where it will be possible to vote for views, the film was presented in national preview in recent days by the director Angelo Faraci and by the deputy mayor Salvatore Buemi In the Riccardo Casalaina municipal theater of the town in the province of Messina, in the presence of the public and a part of the cast, including the Catania actor Turi Giuffrida (“Nuovo Cinema Paradiso”), narrator of history as the local parish priest.
The event represented the opportunity for a debate on film communication, through a masterclass conducted by the Messina journalist Marco Bonardelliin the theater premises, on “Effective communication between digital and analog”. The point on the different communication strategies, along a path that starting from the simple daily interaction between people, has touched specific contexts, such as the audition for casting, the actor performance on specific scripts, the alternative resources for self -residential resources.
Bonardelli involved public and aspiring actors present in an experiential test based on autobiography as a method to bring out alternative personal resources to those already used by the subject.
Before the projection, scheduled in the afternoon, further focus on the communication of the neorealism of the origins, for a parallelism with the current one, of which Faraci’s short film is a successful example.
