The new Acr Messina and the first words of Justin Davis in the press conference: “It all started by chance. We were in Catania for our women’s team and we were invited to attend a Messina match. Morris and I immediately fell in love, an incredible fan base. From there the desire to build something great in this city was born. We are ready to start a beautiful adventure together. I thank everyone who has been close to us in especially the lawyer Di Renzo. I thank the companies that supported us and the fans who welcomed us in the best possible way. We met director Martello and mister Romano, we are working to strengthen the team. We want to bring Messina to the world and for this reason we have chosen Adidas as a technical partner. Soon we will launch the new official website and we will have a branded coach.”

Pagniello: “The present is solid and we can only grow”
“It was a dream because we didn’t believe it at the beginning. We know – declared Morris Pagniello – the importance of football in Italy and, especially, in Sicily. There are many people from Messina around the world. We have many initiatives in mind, not just the event on 1 December. The present is solid and we can only grow. We want to give continuity and we won’t overturn everything. We will work on marketing, on the international football school. We have signed partnership contracts important in Bahrain but we will also grow with local realities. I hope to see a lot of people on Sunday because this city deserves to be high.”
