The secretary of the president of the Calabria Region Roberto Occhiuto, Veronica Rigoniwas operated on in the neurosurgery department of the «Pugliese» hospital in Catanzaro for a head injury with cerebral hemorrhage reported following the road accident involving the governor’s car on the A2 motorway near the Lamezia-Catanzaro junction. The surgery on Veronica Rigoni went well and the post-operative CT scan did not reveal any critical issues. The prognosis remains reserved, and new updates have been announced for tomorrow morning.
With Occhiuto, who suffered a trauma to his shoulder, in addition to the secretary and the driver, there was the governor’s son.
