Then a program across the entire territory.” The new provincial councilor for roads Giuseppe Turano outlines the directions of the action that he will implement in the territory under the jurisdiction of the Province of Cosenza and in particular in the context of Corigliano Rossano. The administrative action of the new council begins at a rapid pace. Turano, outlined the strategy of the executive led by President Faragalli in this sense. The primary objective is to act promptly on emergencies and, at the same time, lay the foundations for long-term structural planning that guarantees safety and decorum to the local arteries. «The absolute priority of this administration – declared Councilor Turano – is to provide immediate responses to the most critical emergencies».
The initial action plan envisages the resurfacing of the road surface with almost surgical attention to the sections most compromised and dangerous for public safety. Among the arteries that will benefit from the very first road interventions are the Mezzofato road, but also that of Apollinara, without forgetting the chronic emergency of the provincial road connecting Rossano and Paludi and that of Celadi.
