The last warning could be the good one. Or at least this is the hope of the municipal administration, which is trying in every way to avoid reaching a definitive break with the company that is carrying out – it would be better to say “should” carrying out – the contract for the redevelopment of the Vascone market. A breakup, to be translated into termination of the contract, which would mean stopping everything for months, with a considerable extension of time. Finding a solution that restarts work as soon as possible is therefore the priority. Councilor Massimo Finocchiaro and manager Pietro Certo reiterated this yesterday in the fourth council commission.
The Municipality is confident in a turning point linked to the last warning formalized to the Modica company on 21 October, for which the deadline for the response will expire in a couple of days.
