The planting works of the 15 thousand new trees that the Metropolitan City has included in the Macchia del Monte Sant’Elia in Palmi continue, contemplating the project between the PNRR financing lines in the context of “Protection and enhancement of urban and extra -urban green” .
Furthermore, the activity constitutes a first part of a larger reforestation program that will affect, with a second and specific intervention, also the coastal area and, more specifically, the areas of Stones, Scinà and Ciambre.
On this point, Giuseppe Ranuccio, Metropolitan councilor delegated, as well as mayor of Palmi, said “widely satisfied because the commitment of the metropolitan city is moving in line with the ambitious project of the Via degli Ulivi”.
