The Sicilia Outlet Village is growing, another 30 stores have opened

The Sicilia Outlet Village is confirmation that in Sicily there are spaces to accommodate important investments by private individuals and that there are all the conditions to do well and always better. Since yesterday, with the inauguration of the Phase Three boulevard, Sicily hosts the largest outlet village in Southern Italy and one of the largest in Italy. To celebrate this event, today and tomorrow will be a weekend of great celebration with a rich program of events open to the public. Over 50 shows with music, dance, acrobatics, circus, theater which will precede the pyrotechnic choreographies of the Vaccalluzzo company.

Since yesterday the overall commercial surface area has expanded by another 6 thousand square meters, hosting 30 new shops, thus reaching a surface area of ​​36 thousand square meters and 170 signs of the most prestigious national and international brands. The expansion was financed with an investment of over 35 million euros, made possible with the entry, which took place in 2019, of the pan-European fund Orion European Real Estate Fund V, sponsored by Orion Capital Managers, under the management of Arcus Real Estate , company of the Percassi “galaxy”. Arcus Real Estate was founded in 2006 and specializes in the marketing and management of luxury retail, outlet and full price real estate projects. It also manages the Torino Outlet Village, Oriocenter and is in an advanced stage of marketing the spaces of the Roma Outlet Village.

The inauguration ceremony of the new commercial area saw the presence of Luca Nasi, general manager of Arcus Real Estate; by Corrado Trabacchi, partner of Orion Capital Managers; by Nicola Sanfilippo, managing director of Sicilia Outlet Village; by Cesare Greco, director of Sicilia Outlet Village; of the president of the Sicilian Regional Assembly Gaetano Galvagno, of the regional councilor for tourism Elvira Amata, as well as of course the national and regional delegation and the institutional representatives of the Municipality of Agira. Everyone proudly highlighted the growth of this structure which, inaugurated 14 years ago in the heart of a Sicily that struggled to believe in its potential, today is an authentic commercial hub and a point of reference also for tourism. A challenge won with courage and determination.
Sicilia Outlet Village has also progressively strengthened its role as a catalyst for the economic development of the region, employing up to 1500 people but above all offering many young people the opportunity for professional growth in a stimulating environment in direct contact with some of the industrial realities most important on the national and international scene, with a positive driving effect on the economy and territories of the Sicilian hinterland.

Among the 30 elegant shops in the new shopping area it is possible to find clothing, accessories, footwear, household, sports and personal care items. Among the innovations in the new phase there are the first new Adidas format in Europe, the Swarovsky boutique, the new Coin Casa store and the first Italian presence in the Tommy Hilfiger Kids outlet. Brands that join those of Alberta Ferretti, Armani, Blumarine, Boss, Coach, Dolce&Gabbana, Ermanno Scervino, Fay, Furla, Gucci, Hogan, Michael Kors, Moschino, Polo Ralph Lauren, Tod's and many others.
