As always, a programming that looks to the excellence of the territory affirmed even beyond the Calabrian borders, to the new trends of dramaturgy but also of dance and visual arts, with a beating heart of the programming dedicated to artistic residences, a privileged space for the creation, comparison and growth of the new generations of artists.

The Festival will start with an artistic return, “Lunar Dogs” by Francesco Marilungo and from the performance in the national premiere “The occupied space”, protagonist the new company of the ballet of Calabria, with the choreography of Luca Signoretti. And again Calabrian testimonies on the second day of the festival, with “in search of a rose still red”, free interpretation of Renata Antonante of the work written and staged in 1998 by Antonello Antonante and Franco Dionesalvi, on the verses of the poet Franco Costabile.

Many first and great names of the theater, such as “The great fright” by Valentina Diana with an active ingredient theater, while following Iaia Forte interprets “My grandmother and the Bourbons”, text by Emanuele Trevi, who will converse with the public about its Calabrian roots and her relationship with Calabria. Space also to the masters of Cara, in the national premiere with “Crick”, a heartfelt tribute to Francesco Silvestri; Topolino Crick – Today Crick – seen by Dario De Luca and Saverio Ruina in the interpretation of Silvestri himself in the 90s, to remember one of the most significant playwrights of the new Neapolitan scene who died prematurely.
