The race towards the final of The Stage comes alive. Considering the episode dedicated to auditions, we are one step away from the fifth television meeting with the new RTP program. Tuesday 15 April, at 9 pm on RTP, the fourth challenge of the talent show will be broadcast which is bringing the emerging talents of Messina and its province to the fore. In the race, once again, thirteen competitors ready to give everything on stage to gain access to the very final of 29 April.
In the previous episode, Martina Rossi, Mary Mazzullo and the Nimpha Band shine, who conquered judges and audiences with three very different performances, but united by quality and strong personalities present on stage.
The two singers offered great vocal performances of great thickness, between interpretative intensity and technical mastery. The Nimpha Band, very young and unscrupulous, surprised everyone with an unpublished song, which brought energy, freshness and a good dose of originality to the stage.
The journalist Maria Mascali addressed a applause to the Nimpha who, in addition to having presented a text written by them, have performed each with an instrument. “The fact of seeing singers with an instrument on this stage for me is already a victory,” commented the journalist at the time of the vote. Now it’s up to a new group of artists, ready to play their cards between singing, dance and acting. Eleven singers, an actress and a group of dancers will bring their performances on stage, between genres, styles and different languages.
To contend for the three places available for the final will be: Angelica Rossi, Arianna Nicita, Carlos Guerrero, Ekna, Giovanni Licata, Kushy, Rox, Nunzio Panarello, Gaetano Nostra, Annalaura Princiotto and the vocal group, keep us by the hand, all for the song category. Alessia Cardile also on stage, with an acting test, and Big Family, with an urban dance choreography. The jury, now tested, is composed of the comedian Denny Napoli, the DJ and producer Helen Brown, the journalist of the South Gazzetta Maria Mascali and the theatrical businessman Giuseppe Ministri. They are joined by a fifth special judge, different for each episode.
“We are seeing people of a very high level: from those who make academies to those who, at just 12 years old, already sings in English and make musicals” have found Denny Napoli. “This stage is making us understand how much need there was a showcase, but above all a space of listening and growth”. Denny Napoli himself went through countless casting before getting noticed in Italy’s Got Talent, where he reached the semifinals.
Who will be the next three finalists? We will find out on Tuesday evening on RTP.
