The validation hearing is expected for next Monday before the investigating judge of the Court of Lamezia Terme for the arrest of Pasquale Colelli, 30 years old, unemployed, who turned himself in yesterday for the murder of Emiliano Torcasio, 52 years old, driver, killed in the night between Thursday and Friday in the Ginepri area with a dozen stab wounds. The investigations, coordinated by the deputy prosecutor Vincenzo Quaranta and conducted by the Carabinieri of the Lamezia Terme Company, continue to ascertain the motive for the murder. Torcasio was found in a pool of blood, hit with several blows in different parts of the body, in particular the neck and face.
The two had known each other for some time and had spent Thursday evening together in a bar in the city. They then moved away to probably reach the Lamezia seafront where the crime took place. What happened after the two left is what the investigators are trying to understand. An autopsy has been ordered on Torcasio’s body.
