They helped Megna after the murder of Giuseppe Muzzupareppa, investigated in seven names

The Vibo prosecutor’s office closed the investigations relating to the alleged favorants of Pasquale Megna (collaborator of justice since February 2023). Fortunato Gurzì is accused of having made false statements because, heard by the carabinieri, he would have declared before not having been present and, then changing the version, that he had left the bathroom and, feeling the shots, that he has escaped from the door on the back; Ditto Emanuele Carrieri, who said he was not present at the bar that evening. While Angelo Carrieri after the murder, he would have led the vehicle of Megna, accompanying him to hide in a property of Monte Poro, but to the carabinieri, he would have declared that he had found himself in a different corner of the place compared to the place of the murder, and hearing the shots, that he had come out using the door on the back, as well as declaring that Megna was not present inside the room. Finally Pantaleone Lentini and Gennaro Borzì are investigated for having hosted Megna (until the arrest took place on January 9, 2023) in their homes, assisting it in the following movements; Like Costantino Panetta who would have hosted him in Vibo.
