Intense and significant day for the Calabria Region at the Turin International Book Fair.
In the morning, the Regional Councilor for Culture, Caterina Capponi, attended the Stand of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation at the meeting “Legal Diplomacy – Promote international collaboration in the field of justice: the Italian model”.
At the meeting, which saw among the protagonists the prosecutor of the Republic of Naples, Nicola Gratteri, was discussed by the role of Italy in promoting a judicial system based on legality and international cooperation.
Councilor Capponi followed the debate with interest, who also touched central issues for the cultural and civil development of the territories and, immediately afterwards, welcomed the prosecutor Gratteri at the stand of the Calabria Region, accompanying him in the visit and illustrating the purposes of the Calabrian participation in the Salone.
Among the main objectives: the promotion of the literary and artistic heritage of Calabria, the support for emerging authors, the diffusion of regional cultural production on a national and international scale and the creation of new synergies with publishers and cultural institutions.
