The Slovenian Tadej Pogačar won the 15th stage of the Tour de France, the Loudemnvielle-Plateau de Beille of 197.7 kilometers, by a wide margin. For the yellow jersey it is the third stage victory in this edition and the second consecutive, in another very tough Pyrenean stage. The Danish Jonas Vingegaard tried to surprise the champion of the UAE Emirates on the final climb but could not resist his counterattack and reached the finish line with a 1’08” gap. He remains second in the standings, but has slipped to over three minutes. Third place at 2’51” of delay for the other man in the standings, Remco Evenepoelwho now has a gap of more than five minutes from the leader.
