Jonas Vingegaard is there and makes a move. The Danish rider from Team Visma-Lease a Bike, the reigning champion, beat Tadej Pogacar (Uae Team Emirates) in the two-man sprint by a hair’s breadth: third place went to Remco Evenepoel (Soudal Quick-Step), who arrived with 25″ in the eleventh stage of the Tour de France 2024, the 211-kilometer Evaux les Bains-Le Lioran. Fourth place went to Primoz Roglic, the Slovenian who fell on the descent about 2 kilometers from the finish line: the Bora captain suffered 55″. The standings were also turned upside down, with Pogacar who remains in the yellow jersey with 1’06” on the Belgian and 1’14” on the Dane thanks to the time bonuses earned. Tomorrow is the twelfth stage, the Aurillac-Villeneuve sur Lot of 203 kilometers.
