Inevitable echoes of the referendum result and sparks in view of the elections that the regional decree, published on Monday, officially set for Sunday 24 and Monday 25 May. 71 municipalities on the island will go to the polls, including 17 in the Messina area, including the capital. The decree also establishes the times: polling stations open on Sunday 24 May from 7am to 11pm and on Monday 25th from 7am to 3pm. Any run-off round will take place on Sunday 7th and Monday 8th June from 7am to 11pm and on Monday 8th June.
