“Towards the Rotary of tomorrow”. This is the theme of V District Training Assembly that will start tomorrowFriday 23 May, and will end on Sunday 25 May. In Cosenza, the arrival of 52 Rotary Club Service from all over Calabria expected. On Saturday at the Rendano Theater in Cosenza, an event organized in detail by the Governor elected by the 2012 Calabria District Dino De Marco will come into the heart of an event. A very interesting morning, that of Saturday 24 May, with a Rendano that will be populated by the many Calabrian Rotarian members ready to listen to the speakers who will confront and share service projects for the Rotarian year 2025-26. The topic of launching the works will be “the journey”, as a metaphor for the path of approaching the service objectives. The governor of the 2012 district Maria Pia Porcino will open the district training assembly. The sections of work will be four for the whole day and among the many guest speakers stand out the names of Arcangelo Badolati chief editor of the Gazzetta del Sud, Pasquale D’Alessandro former director of Rai 2 and Rai 5 and Massimo Ballotta Board Director elected for the three -year period 2026/2028. In the journey “Tomorrow’s Rotary” will alternate on the stage of the Rende many Rotarian managers with important positions also in European Rotary. A day that will serve to complete the formation of members and to put the strategies to produce positive changes in each Rotarian community. On the final day, which is on Sunday, we will return to the Hotel Europa di Rende where more technical issues will face the Rotarian service projects. And there will be an interactive workshop to carry out service activities on travel issues. In these three days, guests will have the opportunity to know the beauties of the city of Cosenza. So to continue, by the elected governor Dino De Marco, that action of enhancement of the territory and promotion of local economies also through the organization of events in the historic buildings of Calabria.
