Donald Trump said Iran has agreed not to have a nuclear weapon. Speaking to journalists before leaving for Memphis, the president also specified that an agreement had been reached with Tehran on 15 points, including atomic weapons.

Donald Trump also said that “The United States is talking to the ‘most important person’ in Iran, but he is not the Supreme Leader.”

The Strait of Hormuz will reopen very soon “if this works”. Donald Trump said this when referring to a possible agreement with Iran. “There is a real possibility of reaching an agreement but I don’t guarantee anything,” added the president, opening up to the possibility that Hormuz will be controlled jointly, “perhaps by me” and whoever the ayatollah is.

‘Talks with Iran also during the day’

The United States plans “a new round of talks” with Iran later in the day. Speaking to reporters before boarding Air Force One in Florida, US President Donald Trump said: “We will talk today, probably by telephone and very soon, at some point, we will meet in person.” In response to denials by Iranian state media that talks were taking place between the sides, Trump suggested there were communication problems within Iran: “Maybe the information wasn’t passed on.”

Donald Trump claimed, speaking to journalists before leaving for Memphis, that regime change is underway in Iran. The president then reiterated that the United States and Israel “have eliminated the leadership” of Tehran.
