The Trump administration asks the countries to present their best offers for commercial negotiations by tomorrow, while officials try to speed up the interviews with different partners before the expiry of 8 July: this is what emerges from a draft letter to the negotiating partners viewed by Reuters.

The draft, coming from the office of the commercial representative of the United States, offers a cross -section of how the US president intends to conclude the difficult negotiations with dozens of countries that began on April 9, when he suspended the duties of the ‘day of liberation’ for 90 days.

In the draft, the United States ask the countries to list their best proposals in a series of key sectors, including tariff offers and shares for the purchase of US industrial and agricultural products and plans to remedy any non -tariff barriers.

Yesterday Donal D Trump said on Truth that “if other countries are allowed to use duties against us and we are not allowed to contrast them, quickly and easily, with other measures, our country does not even have a small possibility of economic survival”. Meanwhile, the battle in the American courts on the rates imposed by the US president continues.
