A woman suffering from Alzheimer and a psychiatric patient De Gom tracked down on the street in Reggio

The State Police quickly tracked down two people who, for different reasons, had moved away from their residences.

First an elderly from Alzheimer’s who had moved away from home for about an hour. The woman, residing in the city, had left the home in an attempt to find a childhood friend in Venice, as she was referring to the operating agents and her son she promptly reported the removal of the police.

Less than an hour away, following numerous reports from citizens concerned about the presence of a subject in evident state of alteration, the agents tracked down a man in pajamas and with the mask, who invested against people and pronounced meaningless phrases.

After verifying the situation, the police headquarters operating was contacted, which he ascertained it was a psychiatric patient, suffering from epileptic crises, who had moved away from the Reggio hospital where he was hospitalized. The man was rescued and accompanied again to the structure, where he will receive the necessary care.
