Checks for the correct production and sale of typical foods of the Easter holidays of Nas of Reggio Calabria: two activities in the food sector closed with a total value of around 500,000 euros.
The investigations, extended locally to all phases of production, distribution and retail, both at an artisan and industrial level, have made it possible to undergo immediate closure a pastry shop and a pizzeria conducted in rooms with very serious hygienic-sanitary and structural deficiencies, as well as with the presence of weeds in places used for the preparation of food.
For violations related to the irregularities detected, the owners of the activities were reported to the competent health and administrative authorities, have been contested administrative penalties for a total of 3,000 euros and over 300 kg of foods have been seized, worth about 6,000 euros.
