The fifth edition of the “United for Legality” conferenceorganized byUNGDCEC In collaboration with the Criminal Law Commission of the Economy and Technical Consulting. The event, hosted by the Princess Oliveto, well confiscated from organized crime, dealt with the issue of the return of the assets confiscated to the community and the strategic role of the professional on the path for the destination of the goods.
The works of the conference, introduced by Enrico Lombardo, delegate of Giunta, and Francesco Savio, president of the Centro Studi Centro Ungdcec, saw the participation of various institutions and professionals. The two round tables of the conference were moderated by Carolina Rumboldt, delegate of Giunta, and Rosanna Dispance, president of the commission.
Participants discussed the critical issues of the system and the need to intensify the moments of study and reflection between the parties involved. The president of the association, Francesco Cataldi, confirmed the willingness to participate in the necessary technical tables that can be established.
The vice president of the Calabria Region Council, Filippo Pietropaolo, proposed to update today’s comparison with professionals to make the management of companies in seizure or confiscation more efficient, providing for tools of the regional administration to encourage the financial sustainability of financed companies.
In light of the numerous ideas that emerged, the two delegates of Giunta, Lombardo and Rumboldt, will work with their own study commission to develop update proposals of the Legislative Decree 159/11 to be presented in the next meetings with politics and institutions.
The conclusion of the conference saw the delivery of the prize established by the HungdCec to personalities and entities that were characterized in the field of defense of the values of legality. The winners of the fifth edition were:
