The university elections of the University of Messina ended with an extraordinary result for the Messina Udu, who in just two years has been able to double the consents in all the departments, establishing itself as the only university association of reference for the left, part of the largest student union in the country. The UDU candidate for Csasu Michele Venturella was elected with 962 preferences, a historical result for the student union. “A result that is the result of a constant commitment and the construction of a credible and inclusive political proposal.” – declares Michele Venturella, newly elected to the Csasu of Unime. To the National Council of University Students, the Udu in Messina, it collected 515 preferences, affirming substantial growth, which contributes to the result of the whole college South and Islands. UDU has elected 19 councilors in the councils of degree and department courses in the Decam, Mift, Scipog, Cospecs, Law, Chibifaram departments, consolidating a widespread presence throughout the University. “We will continue together for the next two years to carry out the work of the UDU in our university with determination and to fight for the right to study, for an accessible, free and quality university, and for a present and a future in which the voice of the students and students is really listened to and represented” – concludes Emanuele Carlo, coordinator of the Udu Messina.
