The University Board of Directors, following the favorable opinion of the Board of Auditors and the Academic Senate, approved the Single Budget Forecast for 2025. Approximately 347.7 million euros are foreseen for the functioning of the University’s activities.
This year too, the University’s commitment – as desired by the Rector, prof.ssa Giovanni Spatari – is strongly oriented in favor of students. In fact, despite the estimated cut in the Ordinary Financing Fund, the allocations for student support and services have been increased by 2.7 million euros, for an amount equal to 64 million (in particular, the financing of sports activities goes from 287,000 to over 750,000 and for housing and catering services the allocation for grants increases by 28%. of study and merit).
On the investment frontover 54 million euros have been allocated for laboratories and scientific equipment, of which, over 9 million will be allocated to the conversion of the student residences in Padiglione A Policlinico, to renovation works in the D Economia building;
renovation of classrooms and pharmacy laboratories; completion of works to adapt fire regulations and restoration of the former Hygiene building.
The Rector thanks the Administrative, Budget and Finance Department, directed by Dr. Salvatore Sidoti, the General Director and all the Managers for their valuable work and efforts thanks to which the 2025 Budget was approved within the required regulatory deadlines.
