Iran attacked at least two Jordanian bases this week, leaving several American service members injured after their facility was hit. Several US officials told CBS News. At the moment there are no reports of casualties among American or Jordanian soldiers and the severity of the injuries is unclear. Furthermore, The Hill adds, it is unclear when the clashes occurred, as neither the United States nor Jordan reported casualties and the Pentagon did not respond to requests for comment.

Kuwait accuses Iran of targeting civilian sites and vital infrastructure in the country. “Repeated attacks on these vital infrastructures reveal a systematic hostile approach targeting civilian sites and vital infrastructure, endangering the lives and safety of civilians,” the Foreign Ministry said. A fire has broken out in one of the components of a power generation and water desalination plant following the latest wave of Iranian attacks. Kuwait’s state oil company also reported injuries and damage after an attack hit an oil facility.
