The announcement on the sale of US electronic cigarettes has been in force from Sunday 1st June from the United Kingdom announced with emphasis by the British government last year as part of a more general close on the ‘Vaping’, to protect in particular of young and very young. You can read it in formal communication on the government website.

The ban will concern all stores such as online trade, and all types of non-rechargeable e-cigarettes: with nicotine or without. On the other hand, reusable charge devices remain legal. There are growing fines of different entities in the four nations of the kingdom against transgressors and the transition from administrative sanctions to criminals (up to two years in prison) in the event of recurrence violations by retailers. The initiative was made its own at the time by the Labor Executive of Keir Starmer Against the background of the growing alarms of doctors and social organizations on the diffusion of disposable vaping: not as a tool to limit the use of traditional cigarettes, but as a lucrative parallel market and perhaps a springboard towards classic smoke, even more harmful to health.

All the more reason due to the multiplication of colorful and captivating models, apparently conceived to attract a client ‘virginè of boys and girls. Previously, the last conservative governments had also moved on the same health line. Above all that of Rishi Sunak who had subjected to Parliament an ad hoc restrictive law in the framework of a draconian plan targeted in the intentions to create a “first generation free from smoking” and vaping within the next few years.
