Vibo, Tari discount of up to 50% for those who give waste to collection centers. Councilor Miceli: "No need to submit applications, meritocratic criteria for reductions"

With a view to a reduction of waste produced by users and an improvement in the quality of separate collectionthe municipal council of Vibo Valentia, on the proposal of theCouncilor for the Environment Marco Miceliapproved the Project “Collection center that breaks down the tari up to 50%”. This is an initiative through which the discount on the invoice is recognized up to half of the amount (within the maximum limit of 250 euros for domestic users, and 500 euros for non -domestic) based on the quantity of differentiated material conferred on the collection centers of Bivona (Cementate locality) and Vibo Valentia (Airport locality).

The initiative is aimed at both domestic and non -domestic users, for a total of 10 thousand euros (5,000 + 5,000) made available by the entity, and the system developed on this occasion will allow to overcome the difficulties that have manifested themselves with a previous similar initiative which, however, had not produced the expected results, so much so that it was not possible to recognize any reward.

“With this project – explains the commissioner Miceli – all citizens in compliance with the Tari payment will be able to confer the material to the collection centers, without the need to produce applications for membership or other: they are all potential beneficiaries. The related resources are convinced that in this way we can fully exploit the potential of the collection centers and allow the citizen, at the same time, to save important figures on the due ” The resources will be divided as follows:

Domestic users

– a) to the top 10 50% of the Tari due with the limit of € 250.00 if this value is exceeded.

– b) to the second 10 40% of the Tari due with the limit of € 200.00 if this value is exceeded.

– c) from 21st to 25th 30% of the TARI due with the limit of € 100.00 if this value is exceeded.

Non -domestic users

– d) to the top 10 50% of the Tari due with the limit of € 500.00 if this value is exceeded.
