The Municipality of Vibo Valentia takes a decisive step towards the cultural rebirth of the city: the public notice for the expression of interest aimed at realizing the 2025/2026 theater season has been published. A concrete act that marks the start of a new era for the municipal theatre, long awaited and finally close to its actual opening. While the technical intervention necessary for the full operation of the structure is nearing completion, the municipal administration – we read in a note – is already looking to the future, focusing on quality theatrical programming, capable of involving artists, companies and the public in a lively and passionate dialogue.
Mayor Enzo Romeo does not hide his satisfaction: “This publication is not just an administrative act, but a strong signal: Vibo Valentia wants to return to experiencing the theatre, to breathe art, emotion and beauty. Our municipal theater will finally be a space open to the city, to ideas, to creativity. It is a dream that comes true, and that we want to share with all citizens”.
With this notice, the Municipality invites cultural and theatrical operators to propose projects that can give life to a rich, inclusive season capable of enhancing the territory. The Notice is aimed at the realization of the next and first theater season, since, as already decided in recent months, the administration’s objective is to establish a managing body for the structure in the future on the basis of a special public-private partnership.
