The wound of the regional elections is still open. The implications of a double defeat – of the presidential candidate and of all the candidates from the provincial territory – hit the local Democratic Party like a tsunami. And perhaps the only lightning strikes for which it would have been necessary to declare a weather alert on Thursday, on a day when there was no rain at all, were those that struck the dems.
The analysis of the electoral defeat left no room for any possible interpretation. Very clear numbers say “that there were obvious errors, starting from the multiplicity of candidacies in an area with decidedly reduced electoral potential”.
