Due to the ongoing storm, the Cristoforo Colombo seafront in Villafranca will remain closed to the public until further notice. The safety of citizens is the priority of the Municipal Administration, which recommends avoiding transit through the affected area and traveling along Via Calasanzio (the stretch between Via S. Antonio and the Lungomare), to prevent any risks. Mayor Antonino Giuseppe Cavallaro invites citizens to follow the instructions of the local authorities and to keep informed for any updates. Along the provincial road Sp52 that leads to Calvaruso, some tree branches fell.
