The Vince Award goes to the Reggio actor Gigi Miseferi

The value of talent and merit and the recognition of good artistic training are the main objectives of Vincenzo Crocitti International Awardwhich every year turns the spotlight on emerging and established professionals in the artistic and cultural sector.

The event, created by Francesco Fiumarella from Reggio, has reached its twelfth editiontook place in recent days in the Aula Magna of the Green Park Hotel Pamphili in Rome. Named after the great Roman actor – son of Alberto Sordi in the film “Un borghese piccolo piccolo” and beloved face of the series “Carabinieri” and “Un medico in famiglia” – it has once again rewarded many professionals with the Vince Award this year, including the actor from Reggio Gigi Miseferimember together with the late Giacomo Battaglia, who passed away in 2019, of the comic duo Battaglia and Miseferi, protagonist, in the 90s, of the TV programs of the Bagaglino Theater Company of Catanzaro Pier Francesco Pingitore (lifetime achievement award last edition). During his activity, Miseferi also participated in films such as “The Tailor’s Wife”, “Quel che resta” and “Mamma Non Like”, a noir comedy by Gianni Leacche which will be released soon.

The actor from Syracuse was also awarded Alessandro “Alex” Partexanoface of Brigadier Antonio Mura in the fiction “Carabinieri”, alongside Crocitti himself, and the director Luca Manfredi, son of Nino Manfredi and the former Taormina model Erminia Ferrari, who this year narrated the figure of Paolo Villaggio in the film Rai TV “How human he is!”.

The actor also received the Vince Award Lino Banfithe violinist Alexander Quartathe directors Stefano Reali and Ivan Silvestrinithe actresses Imma Piro, Sabrina Paravicini, Lucia Batassathe actor and dancer Massimiliano Varrese. And, moreover, the actor Adriano Gianninithe writer Valerio Molinaro and a living legend of dubbing, Maria Pia Di Meounmistakable Italian voice of Meryl Streep and Barbra Streisand. Also awarded Vito Molinari95 years old, Rai’s first director, whose recognition was withdrawn by his nephew of the same name, also a director.

Emerging from this edition is the director of photography Jessica Giaconiawarded with the Special Vince Award named after Adolfo Bartoli – director of photography and testimonial of the event, who passed away on 30 June – the actresses Federica Santuccio and Valeria Mafera and the director Denis NazzariSpecial Vince Award Moraldo Rossi.

The evening was hosted by the journalist and writer Carmen Minutoli with the showman Lele Sarallo, awarded in 2020.
