Wine Not? 2025: the fifth edition of the wine event was presented in the Senate which will take place on Sunday 3 August in Sant’Andrea di Rome

The fifth edition of the event will take place on Sunday 3 August 2025 among the alleys of the small hamlet of Rome, in front of the church of the Madonna del Sabato, patron saint of the community, to which the inhabitants are very devoted.

The press conference was hosted in the Senate of the Republic, thanks to the commitment and promise made a year ago by the Messina Senator Barbara Floridia who, a guest of the fourth edition, was pleasantly impressed by the success and reach of the event that highlighted the great love for the territory of the Pro Loco Sabatina – Sant’Andrea APS who through this and other initiatives managed to revive and bring tourism to the small village Romettese. «There are two ways of doing politics: loving and speaking. I chose the easiest way, that is, to love the territory, the wine, the people who surround me, regardless of political choices – said Senator Floridia. Only by loving the things you do and the places you believe can you be able to bring thousands of people to a small village of 50 inhabitants, as this virtuous association did ».

The fruitful collaboration with the Italian Sommelier Association, present at the press conference with the Vice President of Ais Sicilia, is also renewed for this year, Mariagrazia Barbagalloand with the event manager of Ais Sicilia and delegate of Taormina, Gioele MICALI who said: “Once again the event area of ​​Ais Sicily and the whole regional association have the pleasure of collaborating with this highly successful event that celebrates the Messina area and beyond, in all its wine potential. During the press conference, the main news of the Wine Not edition of the number Five Five were illustrated? which will propose an articulated program of tastings, meetings, workshops and popular activities aimed at enhancing native vines and local excellence. Wine Not? It is an event sponsored by the Municipality of Rometta that arises from the idea that wine is an identity element and can act as a tow and engine for the development of the territories.
