«We have requested urgent information from the government regarding the procedure for the sale of Telecontact Center SpA and the employment and operational consequences that this choice may generate in the local offices involved. The request directly concerns the Tim and Tcc structures present in Catanzaro, Naples, Rome, L’Aquila, Aosta and Ivrea where hundreds of workers engaged in assistance and customer care services operate. The opaque management of this phase and the absence of official communications make an immediate act of transparency necessary: the real risk is to aggravate an already fragile framework for employees and further compromise the ability of the telecommunications system to guarantee continuity and quality of service to citizens. We ask for transparency, clarity and a concrete plan to guarantee worker protection and service stability. At the same time, we await the official convening of the table with the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy, TIM and trade unions so that employment guarantees and the stability of the system do not remain slogans but are translated into verifiable commitments”.
