“In the broader program of activities planned in the city for the Christmas period, the calendar of events that will enliven the San Giovanni galleries between past and present also starts today”. This was stated by the councilor for culture, Donatella Monteverdi. “Thanks to the proposal of the Artemide association, which is renewed year after year with always original contents, it will be possible to take part in guided tours of the castle’s dungeons, to discover stories, anecdotes and curiosities about the underground tunnels which preserve an important historical heritage and identity for Catanzaro. Not only that, from Sunday the same site will also be a container of two exhibitions curated by two fellow citizen artists – Frelly Enrico Focarelli Barone and Ilario Parentela, in Arte Punch311 – who have been able to emerge and consecrate themselves also on a national level with their works. A suggestive combination with the most modern and experimental forms of expression which will certainly contribute to enhancing the suggestive location even more. And then there will be the event that has characterized Artemide’s proposal from the beginning: A night in the San Giovanni galleries will offer the exciting experience of nocturnal exploration in the galleries, further enriched by musical entertainment and taste. History, art and music come together in a program that celebrates the city’s cultural heritage.”
