The future of the Mercure Centrale, in first place. But also the establishment of two new Agencies – the one for Energy and ReDigit Spa, a company for digitalisation and IT – and the institutional reforms with the return of the “alternate” councilor and the introduction of a “ceiling” to non-elected councilorsthe. Issues that risk becoming a taboo for the center-right that governs Calabria. Yes, because in the next Regional Council scheduled for the day after tomorrow there is no trace of the issues just listed. And even if everyone officially denies that the delay is due to problems and/or tensions within the majority, some doubts emerge without hesitation in the discussions between those who occupy a seat in Palazzo Campanella. The doubts concern, needless to say, the timing for the launch of reforms announced some time ago yet still in progress. On the two new Agencies, in particular the one that will deal with digital, it was necessary – despite the green light received some time ago from the competent commissions – further technical investigations before arriving in the Chamber. There is a detail of no small importance then, to take into consideration: the consent of two thirds of the councilors is required for the green light. Theoretically there would be no problems given the numbers of the center-right in the Spaceship: 21 elected including the governor Roberto Occhiuto. But even a single defection (or absence) in the majority ranks would be enough – unless there was a providential “help” from the opposition – to cast doubt on the final approval.
