Hello Melbourne, see you in Doha
In the aftermath of his victory at the Australian Open, Jannik Sinner has already planned his immediate future, deciding to skip the Rotterdam tournament which last year brought him a victory and 500 ATP points. The return is currently scheduled for Doha.
“After consulting with my team, I have made the difficult decision to withdraw from Rotterdam,” Sinner explained to the Dutch tournament website. «My body needs time to recover from the long march in Australia. I have wonderful memories of my victory last year in front of the spectacular crowd in Rotterdam, and I hope to be back soon.” The Doha tournament, on hard courts, offers 500 points and is scheduled to start on February 17th. At the moment the presence of Alcaraz, Djokovic and Medvedev is expected. The next events are those of the US tournaments, with two Masters 1000: Indian Wells (2-16 March) and Miami (19-30 March).
