A group of writers who takes the field in defense of what is recognized and shared as an absolute value: that is, the strait. Individual short stories that go to unison in the recognition of the right to choose for their geographical and human territories and in the “decisive” to the bridge “and to a future that can be violently imposed while, to counterbalance, it is a common vision of Love to preserve everything the work could instead destroy.

All this inspired the editorial challenge of the Strattese collective; Words, intentions, values combine the two shores of Reggio and Messina, and the open space -where the protagonists found themselves for the signature copies -there were curiosity and interest in this original work.
Collective and plural is our straiteducation of the gaze and the soul, and we have tried to tell it, each in its own way. It is a form of mobilization from below, with our favorite weapons: the voice, the word. Narrating to resist », underlines the journalist Anna Mallamo.

Therefore, seventeen authors happy to discover and put black on white to an emotional feeling that becomes collective; An all -female experience is at the root of this project.
It is not only a cultural experience but a political tension to defend an ecosystem that is physical but it is also and above all anthropological And in which we recognize ourselves why we grew up – explain Tiziana Calabrò and Eleonora I write -. We must defend the light of this place that characterizes it and which, in its extreme being changing, expresses the history of these places that are mirrored and which represent in the most ecumenical way the sense of the relationship of the two sides “.
Therefore, not only an end in itself, but a vision suggested by the light of the Strait which therefore makes it unique that marries the desire to try a literary canon of the Strait which, not surprisingly, brings the imprint and the female sensitivity.
