Fratellini mistreated in Paola, the alleged author remains in prison

The alleged author of the mistreatment of the two and four years old brothers remains in prison. His lawyers had requested the review court asking for the release that was however denied. Now everything will presumably decide in the Court of Cassation.
The companion of the mother of the two children is accused of abuse in the family and serious personal injuries.
He was handcuffed by the carabinieri of the Compagnia di Paola on a precise provision of the investigating judge.
The 34 -year -old man was already subjected to house arrest for another case, was reached on February 7 by the judge’s provision for the preliminary investigations of the Court of Paola at the request of the local Prosecutor’s Office. The investigating judge that signed the decree of pre -trial detention in prison, Carla d’Acunzo, has ascertained that the personality of the man finished among the bars is characterized “very negatively by the severity of the violent episodes that occurred, and by the effectiveness of the disputed conduct that caused even serious injuries to the two children”.
The prison, according to the investigating judge, is dictated by the fact that the 34 -year -old “did not show any type of self -control”, taking also that the same conduct were realized “precisely in constancy of measure of house arrest”.
The investigations were conducted by the carabinieri in collaboration with the Paola prosecutor and led to the collection of numerous test elements. Among the investigations the hearing of several witnesses (the grandmother and the biological father), the acquisition of health documentation and further findings.
