Moments of fear in the late afternoon today in Acri, where a fire affected a shed used in the processing of fixtures. The flames, flared around 19:30, quickly spread from the brushwood present near the factory, up to involving the industrial structure.
The firefighters of the Provincial Command of Cosenza, supported by a self -cotboot, who worked promptly to contain the stake and prevent it from propagating further, endangeringly intervened on the spot, endangering the nearby houses.
Thanks to the speed and effectiveness of the shutdown action, the fire has been limited and the area has been made safe, avoiding greater damage. Fortunately, there are no injuries.
The remediation and safety operations will continue in the next few hours, to exclude the presence of any residual outbreaks. Meanwhile, investigations are underway to clarify the causes of the injury.
