Need “defuse” protectionism and duties to avoid effects on markets and banks and a “new recession”. This is the warning of President ABI Antonio Patuelli in his report to the ABI assembly. “If commercial wars develop, the markets would suffer from it, they would increase the uncertainties for companies, the credits could deteriorate more and the banks would suffer the effects” he explains.
“There would be a new recession – he added -.. We need to defuse the risks of protectionisms and new duties, measures old as the world, which penalize the free market, economic and social growth and global prosperity”.
