A day dedicated to sport, passion and recognition of merits that organized by the Consota Calabri Consultaa, who paid tribute to the protagonists of the competitive season with a participatory and felt award ceremony.
During the event, athletes, technicians, referees, managers and clubs that have distinguished themselves for results, commitment and sporting spirit during the year were rewarded.
The protagonists athletes
Among the awarded athletes stand out names of absolute importance of the regional ponging panorama: Miriam Carnonovale (the Piscopio champion who will cross the national borders next year playing in Poland), Arianna Creaco, Luigi Rocca, Marco Colica, Corrado Mastroianni, Laura Curulla, Eleonora Nucera, Graziano Chimenti, Giovanni Paolo D’Acri, Massimo Greppi and Domenico Alparone. Each of them brought luster to the Calabrian colors with bright performance and constancy in the results.
Technicians, referees and managers: silent pillars of sport
The recognition also went to those who work behind the scenes, but with a crucial role. The coach Giacomino Macrì was celebrated for the dedication in the formation of athletes. Among the referees, the attention was paid to Katia Petroni, an estimated figure for his commitment and correctness on the field.
Finally, a applause went to the managers of the Open Group: Roberto Aita, Luigi Ritacco, Rosario Lombardi, Antonio Mastroianni and Paolo Cucci, for the constant management and organizational activity in support of the regional ponging movement.

The Consulta also wanted to pay homage to the territory, recognizing the institutional commitment of Dr. Francesco Viceconte, councilor for sport of the Municipality of Spezzano Albanese, for the concrete and constant support offered to the development of local sports activities.
