The board of directors of the Club Nautico Paradiso elected unanimously Riccardo Barbera as new president for the four-year term 2026–2029. The appointment arrived during the last official meeting of the Club, marking the beginning of a new management and sporting phase.

Immediately after his election, Barbera defined the new corporate roles, outlining an organizational structure aimed at consolidating the tradition of the association and promoting further future developments. In his first public speech, the new president wanted to pay homage to the sporting history of the association, underlining the results obtained over the years especially in the rowing sector.

Barbera recalled the “extraordinary victories” achieved by the Club’s athletes, citing in particular Calabrese and Ficarra, examples of sporting excellence who represent, in his words, “a starting point” towards new ambitious goals.

The new mandate thus opens with the declared intention of further strengthening the presence of the Club Nautico Paradiso in the national and international nautical panorama, enhancing its identity, tradition and role in the diffusion of maritime culture.
